It normally signifies a solution intended for a specific problem or task, and which cannot be adapted to other purposes Ad hoc software testing is a type of testing executed without documentation and planning. Ad hoc tests are intended to be run only once, unless a defect is discovered. Ad hoc testing is a part of exploratory testing.
